This year California’s governor caved to pressure from terrorist apologists to cancel the state’s public Christmas tree lighting ceremony. He announced that the ceremony begun in 1931 would be converted to a “virtual” Christmas tree lighting, out of deference to supporters of Hamas, a modern Nazi group dedicated to the elimination of the state of Israel and the extermination of Jews. This announcement reveals that we no longer have a government that represents the people, the nation, or the values that the United States was founded on.

This was not the first time, though, that Newsom made this announcement. He did it in 2020 after locking down the state in a Quixotic, failed crusade to contain a ubiquitous respiratory virus. So, when it comes to Christmas, he has a track record of celebrating cowardice and idiocy rather than strength and divinity.
