Switzerland

Returning after many years to a place that you used to live brings a different perspective than visiting somewhere entirely new. Perhaps the experience can be compared to seeing an old friend whom you’ve fallen out of touch with vs making a new one. Recently, I returned to Switzerland, where I lived for one year in 1990, to spend a few days on my way home from Lebanon. I was struck by the changes that have occurred there over the past three decades.
